European Regulation NCTS Phase 5

Dear valued customer,

Please be advised that the new import regulation related to European Regulation called NCTS Phase 5 will become mandatory very soon.

As from ETA – 1 December 2023, all HBL’s and manifests submitted to Antwerp and Rotterdam or in transit via Antwerp/Rotterdam will need to mention (at least) a 6-digit HS-code per product.

Please note that lacking to comply to this new regulation can result in demurrage/detention charges since container can be blocked at the terminal. The charges will be for the account of the sender/agent.
